As part of the annual review into the university’s investment in healthy choice offerings, the Health Assessment and Fitness Incentive programs will be combined into one wellness incentive for 2025, with an updated $300 savings per year.
USC’s health assessment incentive supports faculty and staff as they pursue their health and fitness goals.
Earn Silver status (2,500 points) to save $300 on your 2025 medical premiums with Vitality, starting on Jan. 1, 2024 and ending on Dec. 13, 2024.
Two paths to achieving Silver status (2,500 total points)
- Complete the annual online Vitality Health Review (VHR) and in person Vitality Check (annual preventive visit).
OR
- Complete the annual online VHR and earn points by completing Vitality activities you enjoy doing or want to learn more about.
To confirm your savings are activated, reach out to Vitality through one of the following methods:
- Log on to the Vitality site.
- Contact a Vitality representative via phone at 877-224-7117.
- Email wellness@powerofvitality.com.

Your other Vitality benefits
The Vitality site offers a number of resources to empower you for healthier living, including the opportunity to craft personal health goals and work toward them with a motivational “points” system. Earn points by healthy eating, checking in at the gym, or reading one of the thousands of articles on the site covering nutrition, fitness, and other wellness topics. You can also link your fitness device to your Vitality account to help track your progress. You can earn points in various ways to obtain your $25/month medical plan premium savings, and you might find it to be a fun way to work toward your goals!

To get your assessment started – and to access all other wellness offerings – log in to Vitality using one of two methods:
- Go to powerofvitality.com and register for an account using your USC information.
- Use your USC NetID single sign-on (SSO) to log in to your account. Click here to use SSO to go directly to your account.
