Whether mandated by federal and state legal requirements or as part of USC’s commitment to fostering a positive environment, all USC faculty and staff are required to complete certain trainings. USC has developed courses to educate faculty and staff on policies, procedures, compliance-related topics, and resources.
Trainings that are required for all faculty and staff include USC’s Harassment Prevention Training at the time of hire and every two years thereafter, USC’s Integrity and Accountability Code Training at the time of hire, Information Security training annually, and Workplace Violence Prevention Plan training annually. A variety of other trainings may be required based on specific job responsibilities.
Employees will be notified when they are assigned required training. To stay up to date on your required trainings, speak to your supervisor and log in to TrojanLearn to visit your “Transcript,” where you can filter to view your active and completed courses.
If you have questions on requirements specific to your job, please refer to USC Policy site and consult with your manager and HR contact.
