TIAA President and CEO receives a Trojan welcome

TIAA

he USC Human Resources, Equity, and Compliance division (HREC) welcomed TIAA President and CEO Thasunda Brown Duckett to campus for the first time on Tuesday, March 8. During her visit, Ms. Duckett had the opportunity to meet with the Retirement Oversight Committee, USC senior leaders, and students at the Marshall School of Business.

She used the time to offer valuable insights about her personal brand and share TIAA’s ambitious goals for helping their participants have the replacement income necessary to retire. By the end of the visit, all parties involved walked away with new understandings and an excitement for what’s to come with this partnership.

The Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America-College Retirement Equities Fund (TIAA) is one of three retirement and investment providers available to USC faculty and staff, and they have been working with the university for years to ensure Trojans receive the retirement they deserve.

This cohesive collaboration is made possible by USC and TIAA establishing connections and learning from one another, which is why visits like this one are so important. Pictures from the day are below.
