Check your cell number in Workday

Have you added your cell phone number in Workday?

If you’re not receiving TrojansAlert text messages, check that your information was added correctly.

On Sept. 17, 2024, USC upgraded its emergency notification system, TrojansAlert. All faculty and staff were notified that to ensure you continue to receive alerts, please verify your home contact information in Workday and add your cell phone number to get text alerts.

If you aren’t yet receiving TrojansAlert text messages, you may need to re-check that your information was added to Workday correctly.

As a reminder, below are the steps to review your home contact information and add your cell phone number in Workday. Be sure to select USC Emergency/Safety Alerts as the Phone Type when entering your cell phone number.

  1. Click the link below to access the Change My Home Contact Information page, where you can review the current information.
  2. Under Phone, click Add to add a new phone number.
  3. Under Phone Type, select USC Emergency/Safety Alerts and enter your cell phone number.
  4. Click Submit.
  5. Return to this Workday task and click Submit.
