Are your digital resources accessible? Can a person with a disability acquire information, engage in interactions, and enjoy the services you offer in an equal and integrated manner?
The new Digital Accessibility Program on TrojanLearn helps you understand why accessible content is important, learn what it is, and find practical ways to build accessibility into your digital content.
Whether you are updating a website, creating a presentation, or developing documents, the training modules present many of the skills necessary for producing accessible materials.
Each module can be completed in 10 to 15 minutes and includes interactive exercises to help you apply the concepts. They are designed to be used in any order, and more modules will be added soon.
If you have further questions about digital accessibility, please email the Office of Institutional Accessibility and ADA Compliance (OIA).
Looking for even more on digital accessibility?
The OIA also holds monthly office hours on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. where faculty and staff can learn more and bring accessibility questions. Please visit their website for Zoom login details. Small group accessibility trainings can also be scheduled.
