Health and medical-related benefits
Health care coverage is one of the most important benefits the university offers you. It helps pay for your medical, dental, and vision care, as well as your prescriptions; a number of different plans are available. The university also offers flexible spending accounts, to defray medical-related costs and reduce your taxable income. Additional benefit offerings provide coverage for other medical situations (including disability and workers’ compensation). USC faculty practices and other university-based health care services are listed in this section also for your reference.
