Free antigen test kit for faculty and staff

If you’re planning on traveling this spring, USC Student Health is offering you a free COVID-19 antigen test kit to help you stay safe.

Antigen test kits are currently available for pick up at the USC Bookstores on both the UPC and HSC campuses and at the Jefferson Lot/Pappas Quad testing sites. The tests are limited to one test per person.

USC Student Health recommends using an antigen kit if you are already symptomatic or if a PCR test is not easily available. You do not need to upload negative antigen test results into MySHR.

As a reminder, PCR testing through the USC Pop Testing program is still available.

During your plans, keep in mind these hygiene and safety recommendations:

  • Handwashing is an effective and important step in reducing infection.
  • Wearing a well-fitting medical-grade or respirator mask (surgical, N95, KN95, KF94) when in crowded settings and/or indoors is recommended.
  • Know the symptoms and stay home from class and activities with others if you are feeling sick.

If you test positive, please complete the contact tracing form and inform your recent close contacts (people you have been close contact with within the 48 hours prior to your start of symptoms).
