Beginning Sept. 9, all faculty, staff, student workers, and iVIPs are required to complete “TrojanSecure: Responsible Use of AI Tools,” a new 20-minute training course in TrojanLearn. The training must be completed by Oct. 9.
The course is designed to help the USC community use AI tools confidently, responsibly, and in accordance with university policies and best practices. Participants will learn what information is safe to share with AI tools and how to protect sensitive university data, including student records, research data, and intellectual property.
Faculty and staff will receive an email from TrojanLearn on Sept. 9 notifying them that the course has been assigned. Additional reminders will be sent in the weeks leading up to the Oct. 9 deadline.
