On Saturday, Nov. 6, members of the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center Adolescent & Young Adult Cancer Program (AYA@USC) laced up their running shoes at the LA Big 5K, to support young adults and families affected by cancer.
Team USC AYA pounded the pavement, raising $1,499 – and maybe a blister or two – in the process!
AYA@USC is also set to receive a $20,000 award from the Concern Foundation – which provides funding for cancer research – for its 2022 programming to benefit young adults with cancer.
