USC leadership transition now underway


USC has a new interim president – Wanda Austin, member of the Board of Trustees and a highly esteemed engineer and businesswoman.

Her appointment was announced August 7 by Rick Caruso, Chairman of USC’s Board of Trustees, who also announced that C. L. Max Nikias has stepped down as president, and that a robust search for a new president is underway, with a goal of completing that search within four to six months.
