Best Private College or University
The Business Research Guide, a website that aims to give prospective employees information about top employers in higher education, named USC one of its top ten private colleges and universities for 2013. Psychologically Healthy Workplace
USC is one of only four workplaces, nationwide, to be honored as a Psychologically Healthy Workplace by the American Psychological Association (APA) in 2014. Watch the video that was shown at the award ceremony below.
In 2013, USC became one of only nine organizations of any kind, nationwide, to earn a “best practices” award from the APA. The honor was given for the university’s efforts at fostering a psychologically healthy workplace, and USC’s Center for Work and Family Life was especially noted for its accomplishments in addressing work-life challenges.
USC has also earned the California Psychological Association’s Psychologically Healthy Workplace award in multiple years.
Family Health Promotion and Mother-Baby Friendly Workplace
In 2012, the Breastfeeding Task Force of Greater Los Angeles honored USC with its Family Health Promotion award, concurrent with the California Breastfeeding Coalition awarding us its Mother-Baby Friendly Workplace award. Both honors recognized USC’s commitment to maintaining an employee lactation policy.
